About Timothy Bazil D.O.

Dr. Bazil was born and raised in the Detroit metropolitan area. He completed his medical school training at the University of Pikeville - Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine then went on to complete his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at Corewell Health (formerly Beaumont Hospital) in Royal Oak, Michigan. Following residency, he completed additional training in an ACGME-accredited Anesthesia Pain Medicine fellowship program at the University at Buffalo. He is a current member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR) as well as the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA).

He treats both acute and chronic pain, with emphasis on improving quality of life and physical function with implementation of an active treatment program. He views every patient as he would a family member and strives to support each of them to attain their individual goals.

He performs a variety of interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, trigger point injections, and joint injections for conditions including but not limited to muscle and joint pain, neck and back pain, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, disc herniations, and facet arthropathy. He also has an interest in regenerative therapies for chronic conditions. He looks forward to helping his patients get back to enjoying their lives to the fullest!
